A Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA), Jake Kagele is a member of the Investments and Wealth Institute, which is preparing to host its 2019 Wealth Advisor Forum in Scottsdale, AZ.

Each year, the Investments and Wealth Institute oversees a variety of educational programs and events to help its membership body of financial advisors, investment consultants, and wealth managers stay current on the latest developments in their field. For those who serve high net worth and ultra high net worth clients, the organization offers its annual Wealth Advisor Forum, a two-day conference that features presentations from academics, practitioners, and industry experts.

In 2018, the forum took place in October in Chicago. The lineup of presenters at the event included Michael Casey of the MIT Digital Currency Initiative, journalist Howard Fineman of NBC News, and Kerri Kasem of the Kasem Cares Foundation. In addition to general sessions covering diverse topics such as cryptocurrency, populist politics, and elder abuse, the 2018 Wealth Advisor Forum featured workshops focused on tax planning, charitable contributions, client retention, and value investment.

Attendees can expect similar programming during the 2019 Wealth Advisor Forum, which will take place October 21-22. Registration rates range from $895 for Institute members to $1,345 for nonmembers. Both members and nonmembers can save $100 by registering for the event by September 3, 2019. More information is available at www.investmentsandwealth.org.
